Ashok Kumar Shah is a leader, creator, innovator, and problem solver with over 18 years of experience in serving and solving problems. He is known for his creative and detailed approach to problem-solving and leads by work, not just by words. Currently working as a Technical Leader at Appdynamics, Ashok manages the SaaS farm and complex deployment on Kubernetes and AWS. He has managed high traffic websites, scaled and planned capacity, managed Kubernetes setup and deployment, and deployed via helm charts. He is skilled in multiple programming languages and frameworks such as Python, JavaScript, Django, SaaS, CSS, HTML5, Go, and Bash. Ashok has a proven track record of solving problems where it appears to be a dead-end and has managed teams and helped people to grow. He has also managed databases, conducted monitoring, and designed application and infrastructure architecture. Ashok has experience in infrastructure as a code and has automated repetitive works. He has designed and automated complex tasks and architected new projects, handling the critical pieces of projects, guiding others with understanding project scope, and assisting them in development. In the past, Ashok has worked as a Site Reliability Engineer at Adap.tv and as a Sr. System Engineer at Yahoo Software Development. At Adap.tv, he maintained servers and apps running on them, built and automated deployment, developed and maintained monitoring scripts, and worked on projects, architecting design, serviceability, and maintainability. At Yahoo Software Development, he created, maintained, and monitored Linux/Unix-based web farms, API boxes, and DB servers, ensured high availability at all times, and conducted incident management and resolution. Ashok holds a Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from RGPV, a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) from NIELIT, and a PGDCA in Computer Science from NIELIT.
